General Policy


The customer may return any new, un-opened item sold by any vstores store within 30 days of receipt. We will provide a return shipping envelope valid for returns with Australia & New Zealand only. The cost of shipping will be deducted from the refund, unless the refund is as a result of our error; the shipping cost will be charged at our standard shipping rates of $20).

 

Refunds will not be issued on products less than $50.

 

Each shipment must be returned using a separate mailing label (please download a PDF of the returns label). If defective i.e. the customer has opened the product and some/all of the features are not working, a returns receipt no. & shipping label will be issued and needs to be incl. with the return. Email confirmation of return receipt will be issued. The customer must contact customer service, explain the issue and Customer Services will decide how to handle it. Most items that are returned more than 30 days after delivery. Any item that has obvious signs of use. Any opened laptop or desktop computer. Any CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, that has been opened/taken out of its plastic wrap. (If you discover that the item is defective after the package is opened, a full refund or replacement may still be granted) 

 

Any item not returned in the condition it was received.

 

Email confirmation of refund will be issued.

 

Any unopened media item or non-media item in original condition that is returned more than 30 days after delivery: up to 80% of item's price.

 

Any CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened (taken out of its plastic wrap): up to 50% of item's price.

 

Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts for reasons not due to our error: up to 50% of item's price.

 

Faulty items can be exchanged for the same item or a different item according to our standard returns policy.

 

Orders for new items can be placed before vstores receives the original item.

 

There will be a 5-7 day processing time once returns have been received.

 

Email confirmation of return receipt will be issued.

 

If the customer returned only one item from a multi-item shipment, they will be reimbursed only for the per-item shipping fee for the item they returned and not the per-shipment fee. The customer should expect to receive their refund within four weeks of giving their package to the return shipper, however, in many cases they may receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for vstores to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes vstores to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes the customers bank to process the refund request (5 to 10 business days). We'll notify the customer via e-mail of their refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
